Offering a unique blend of classic cocktails and American Fare in a playful environment, The Side Piece is attached to a returning pizza staple on the corner of 2nd Avenue and Commerce St. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced full-serve and fast casual restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing Profit & Loss, weekly operations, directing the rest of the management team, and ensuring that our guests have a positive dining experience from open to close. Duties Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and performance management. Lead and motivate the team to achieve high standards of customer service and operational excellence. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food quality and cleanliness. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing costs effectively. Utilize POS systems to track sales, manage transactions, and analyze performance metrics. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive repeat business. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner to ensure resolution. Collaborate with ownership to set goals and develop action plans for continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry, preferably in Nashville. Strong team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Knowledge of food management practices and hospitality standards. Familiarity with POS systems is preferred. Bartending experience is a plus but not required. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
