Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will manage daily activities, oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, and ensure operational standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations. Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure high service standards. Oversee scheduling, inventory management, and ordering processes. Enforce company policies, service standards, and food safety practices. Provide training and guidance to team members to maintain operational efficiency. Proactively address any operational issues to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. Comprehensive knowledge of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations (kitchen experience is required). Proven leadership skills focused on accountability and effective communication. Demonstrated ability to manage details while delivering excellent guest experiences. ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred.
