Assistant manager/co-manager based on experience
STREAMLINE LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION INC
Ooltewah, TN 37363 FULL TIME co-manager/asst.manager position available in Ooltewah, TN. with a FedEx Ground contractor. We are looking for self-motivated, experienced managers who will motivate our team and provide outstanding service to our customers! Must have experience with large, bulk heavy routes, residential delivery and route planning in a step van and/or bulk truck operation. The routes are in and around the Chattanooga area, using a step van or a box truck.

experience a Plus! CDL License is NOT required!
DUTIES OF POSITION
- Partner with existing management team to recruit, train, and manage drivers.
- Assist with route planning and dispatch.
- Train new or existing drivers to efficiently run routes in a compliant and safe manner.
- Assist with oversight of fleet and coordinating maintenance.
- Help foster a team oriented environment.
As needed:
- Deliver and pick up all packages daily w/in the prescribed time windows
- Operate delivery van safely, securely and competently
- Learn the route(s) and customer needs serviced by our company
- Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight w/o damage to the package or injury to oneself or others
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 21 years of age
- Clean driving record
- no accidents or violations in 3 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work 6 days a week during peak season (starting after Thanksgiving through New Years)
