WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the Starbucks Manager, you will ensure The Read House Starbucks establishment meets Starbucks standards as well as The Read House processes and procedures. You will lead by example and coordinate the daily shift operations of the outlet, promote cooperation among the staff, and maintain high service and sanitation standards. You will report directly to the Food & Beverage Director and collaborate with the Starbucks Regional Manager. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Provide a positive and friendly guest experience and hold team members accountable for delivering excellent customer service Effectively manage inventory, cost of goods control, and labor costs Maintain daily, weekly, and period financial reports; maintains daily reporting of Starbucks Ensure entire cash handling and register functions are performed accurately and consistently Ensure supplies, materials, and merchandise are suitably ordered and stocked Communicates with Starbucks regional representatives and hotel management on store deficiencies, opportunities, and achievements Oversees new product product information, seasonal launches, and Starbucks brand information to team leads and baristas Maintain store operations, financial contribution and partner development financial accountability Train and prepare leads and baristas to demonstrate Starbucks training, service, and operating standards Expect and encourage complete participation of team members to develop and achieve store goals and develop plans Identify daily and weekly staffing requirements Contribute toward profitability through seeking opportunities to enhance sales Abide by all company, Starbucks, and state guidelines regarding safe food handling Maintain regular and punctual on-site attendance with the ability to work a flexible schedule which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays when business requires Directly supervises the following staff:

Baristas, Lead Baristas, Shift Supervisors Job Requirements Education/ Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Minimum of 3 years food and beverage supervisory or management experience required Minimum of 2 years experience in coffee shops Prior Starbucks supervisor or management experience preferred

Skills:

Ability to multitask in a high-demand, fast paced environment Excellent computer skills Proven management and leadership skills Budget, forecast, and cost control experience Excellent communication skills with guests, team members, and management Proficiency in restaurant POS and inventory applications Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills Ability to work efficiently with strong attention to detail

Physical & Mental Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move up to 50 pounds Position self in order to obtain necessary supplies and efficiently clean assigned areas Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-demand, fast-paced environment with changing variables

Work Environment:

Ability to regularly work weekend shifts The work environment includes high guest contact; may involve varying conditions and circumstances with guests, staff, visitors, etc. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Ability to work in temperatures of varying degrees
