A place where everyone can sing, we are an inclusive and open environment. Our team loves music and always sings along while serving up drinks. This bar is fast-paced thanks to our amazing location on Gay Street downtown. Because we are offering a yearly profit bonus to the AGM, we are looking for someone with an ownership mindset. We are still growing and would love for you to be part of the journey! What you can expect from us : Competitive salary paid bi-weekly Two weeks of paid vacation Profit bonus at the end of year one Four week paid training with the owner What your responsibilities will be : General Management Respond to needs and requests of customers and employees Develop personnel related activities (recruiting, hiring, training, etc) Monitoring and assuring that all equipment is working properly and that facilities are in optimal condition. If AGM cannot fix something, hire appropriate maintenance team Keep bar a clean, entertaining, and inviting atmosphere Schedule staff based on expected customer numbers Update house cocktails and food menu periodically Liaison with contacts from various vendors/stakeholders Handle bar cash and keep change stocked for register Bartend when necessary Other duties to be assigned based on bar requirements Marketing Generate ideas for theme nights, special events, collaborations with other businesses, etc Work closely with social media manager for content creation Order merchandise to sell in the bar

Skills and Qualifications:

Bar experience (3+ years) Management experience preferred Highly motivated and independent self-starter Customer service experience and expertise Resourcefulness and problem-solving Natural leader who is well-organized Personable and energetic
