Brewing Company is regional brewery with new growth opportunities in 2025. We first started brewing in 2013 and now have 2 production facilities along with accompanying taprooms and a pizza kitchen serving up New Haven style pies. Our focus is on making top quality, uniquely flavorful beverages but we have a particular passion for lagers as evidenced by our top-selling, Great American Beer Festival bronze medal winning Tiny Bomb Pilsner and gold medal winning Sky Dog Lager. Position Overview:

As the Front of House Manager of our taprooms and downtown pizza kitchen, Little Bettie, you’ll be at the helm of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and hospitality. Operational Leadership:

Develop and implement standard operating procedures tailored to the unique needs of

Brewing Company’s taproom and restaurant. Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing and inventory management, to uphold our standards of excellence. Supervise facility maintenance across all locations, ensuring that cleanliness, organization, and overall maintenance standards are consistently upheld to provide a pleasant and safe experience for our guests. Collaborate with the brewing team to coordinate beer releases, tastings, and brewery tours that enhance the overall guest experience.

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and mentor a team of passionate individuals who share our commitment to providing exceptional service and hospitality. Create a positive work environment where team members feel valued, motivated, and empowered to deliver their best every day. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to support staff development and accountability.

Customer Experience:

Ensure that every guest who walks through our doors receives attentive, friendly service and leaves with a memorable experience they’ll want to share. Monitor guest feedback and reviews, and take proactive measures to address any concerns or suggestions for improvement. Work closely with the culinary team to curate a menu of locally-inspired dishes that complement our diverse beer offerings and showcase the best of Memphis cuisine.

Financial Management:

Drive revenue growth for the taprooms and restaurant by implementing strategic event business, pricing strategies, promotional initiatives, and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining profitability. Implement cost-control measures and revenue-enhancing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining our commitment to quality and value. Analyze sales trends and market data to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in our product offerings and pricing strategies.

Marketing and Promotion:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing initiatives that drive traffic to the taproom and restaurant and increase brand awareness. Leverage social media platforms, email marketing, and community events to engage with our audience and promote upcoming beer releases, special events, and promotions. Cultivate relationships with local influencers, media outlets, and community organizations to amplify our message and expand our reach within the Memphis community.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing the sale of alcoholic beverages, food safety, and workplace safety. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address any potential safety hazards or violations. Provide staff training on responsible alcohol service practices and food handling procedures to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees alike.

Community Engagement:

Act as a brand ambassador for

WISEACRE

Brewing Company within the Memphis community, participating in local events, festivals, and charitable initiatives. Forge partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and cultural institutions to host collaborative events and promotions that celebrate our shared values and support the community. Solicit feedback from guests and community members to gauge satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for improvement or new avenues for engagement.

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; however, equivalent experience will be considered. 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a brewery or restaurant setting. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Passion for craft beer and commitment to delivering exceptional service and hospitality. Knowledge of local market trends and a proven track record of driving sales and profitability. Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and other hospitality industry tools. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
