Overview:
As a General Manager, you will lead the success ofyour store and team by setting the bar high for performance andproviding the white glove experience our customers expect. You willcoach, develop, and lead your team to reach Company objectives andserve as the trusted face of the store, helping to build brandrecognition and drive business. Along the way, we’ll provide youwith a training and development program to help you move yourcareer forward.
Responsibilities:
Oversee, coach, and develop allstore Team Members in order to build new business and maintainstore profitability. This includes training Team Members onsystems, policies, compliance, account management, recovery, anddaily performance reports. Manage overall store performance bymeeting or exceeding Company performance standards, including KeyPerformance Indicators (KPIs). Track, analyze, and train TeamMembers on various performance reports. Lead your team to reach orexceed sales goals by extending loan or pawn products to consumers,identifying local marketing strategies, leveragingbusiness-to-business partnership opportunities, obtainingreferrals, and hosting and participating in community events.
Supervise and maintain office security including cash managementand loss prevention by verifying and documenting cashoverages/shortages, vault, inventory, deposits, and expenses.
Conduct proper opening and closing procedures. Ensure a workenvironment that upholds compliance with Company policies andprocedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws andregulations. Maintain a visually pleasing and professionalatmosphere that aligns with the values and mission of the Company.
This includes overseeing store planograms and ensuring seasonaland/or promotional marketing materials are displayed properly.
Utilize personal vehicle to complete bank deposits and otherCompany business throughout the workday. Work efficiently in arapidly changing and fast-paced environment and handle multiplechallenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performancestandards. Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate andinteract with customers and Team Members at all levels. Ability tomaintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-personattendance, including some weekend hours, is required for thisposition. A full-time work schedule for this position includes, ata minimum, 40-hours per week•. •Store hours, schedules, and/or theminimum number of hours required for this position may be subjectto change by brand entity and at the sole discretion of theCompany. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalentrequired At least two years of experience and proven success in asupervisory or leadership role in retail, financial, customerservice, or related industries Operations experience in aleadership capacity Excellent verbal and written communicationskills Valid and current driver’s license, auto insurance, andpersonal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileagecompensated) Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, MicrosoftOffice, and other systems Must be at least 18 years of age (19 inAlabama) Background check required. All background checks areconducted, and their results are considered, in accordance withapplicable law. Ability to meet the physical demands of thisposition, which frequently include: the ability to remain in astationary position, the ability to move and transport up to 25pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store,and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills Associate degree or higherExperience in retail, sales, or financial industry BilingualEnglish/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations
