Honey Rock Books and Cafe is a new two-story bookstore cafe opening this summer in the heart of Gallatin’s historic square. Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a Cafe Manager who can lead with excellence, energy, and heart. You’ll oversee the full cafe operation—from baristas and front-of-house, to our baker and cook in the kitchen. You’ll help us set the tone for service, systems, and a work culture built on trust, initiative, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and train baristas and kitchen staff Manage food and drink prep, kitchen flow, and quality control Ensure health and safety standards are always met Order supplies, track inventory, and create staff schedules Support day-to-day performance and foster team spirit Collaborate on menu and offerings as we grow

Requirements:

3+ years of experience managing a cafe, bakery, or restaurant Experience with both barista and kitchen operations Knowledge of espresso drinks (especially Cuban coffee is a plus!) ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain it Highly organized, dependable, and a strong communicator

Bonus Points:

Experience opening a new location or food concept Familiarity with Cuban, South Florida, or international cuisine A personal love for books, culture, or community events
