Hotel General Manager Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Candlewood Suites hotel in Franklin, TN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue growth. Lead, train, and motivate hotel staff to ensure high performance and a positive work environment. Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as hotel policies and procedures. Build and maintain relationships with guests, vendors, and the local community. Oversee marketing and promotional activities to attract new guests and retain existing ones. Address guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management or a similar role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in IHG’s hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
