Responsibilities 2nd shift Hall Lead -Mental Health Associate-Rise Hall Alabama Clinical Schools is a Residential Treatment Facility that provides treatment for adolescent males, ages 9-18. Alabama Clinical Schools has been a Residential Behavioral Healthcare provider in the Birmingham area for over 20 years. Our treatment services range from intensive residential treatment for males ages 9-18 to therapeutic foster care for males and females of all ages.

Hall Lead MHA:

The Mental Health Associate (MHA)- Hall Lead provides direct care to adolescents residents with psychiatric disorders, to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents. Hall Leads have the primary responsibility for ensuring the resident’s safety on the unit utilizing a therapeutic approach to all tasks including assistance with daily activities, facilitation of groups and assisting with the intake and discharge process. Hall Leads are responsible for implementing treatment plans, providing crisis intervention, and setting a good example for MHAs. Hall leads also assist in training new MHAs. Detailed and organized with strong documentation skills Able to safely monitor residents and perform physical management techniques and crisis intervention. Experience in a residential mental/behavioral health setting strongly preferred. Successfully pass background screen (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check) and drug testing.
