The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and leading staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the hospitality industry, and the ability to thrive in both fine and casual dining settings. Duties Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Train, develop, and mentor staff on best practices in service, food handling, and safety protocols. Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Utilize Aloha POS system for order management and payment processing. Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area and bar. Assist with banquet setups and special events as required. Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and conducting evaluations to promote growth. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences. Experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred. Proficient in training development techniques to enhance staff capabilities. Knowledge of bar operations and coffee service is a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale technology is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism.
