The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during their shift, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to train and develop employees, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and service. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company policies. Provide training and development for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff. Assist with food preparation and ensure that all food safety guidelines are followed. Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling procedures. Conduct interviews for potential new team members, contributing to the hiring process. Maintain a positive atmosphere for both customers and employees, promoting excellent hospitality. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts. Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and enhance customer satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in a supervisory role within a quick service fast food restaurant or casual dining setting is preferred. Strong background in customer service with an emphasis on hospitality. Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous. Proven ability to train, develop, and motivate team members effectively. Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
