Dietary Manager 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars 3310 W Main St, Cabot, AR 72023 Job Summary The FSD or Chef is responsible for delivering nutritional food and beverages with quality service while managing costs and meeting sate health/regulatory stamdards. Responsibilities include kitchen management, menu planning, meal preparation, food, equiptment, inventory control and kitchen staff supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Candidate should hace five years professional dietary experience. Candidate should be a Certified Dietary Manager or Chef. Experience in senior resident services is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organization and interpersonal skills. Read, write, speak and understand the English language. Freedom from illegal use of drugs Freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in health care related settings are ineligible for employment in this position. Demonstrates effective time management skills. As required by state law, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability required Must enjoy working with the seniors and able to accept constructive criticism Must be able to track budget and be able to sty within the monthly/yearly budget Responsible for the orientation, training, communication, goal setting, supervision and evaluation of all Food Service staffmembers. Meet with Food Service staff to discuss performance issues and quality of food served. Ensure successful implementation of our Operations policies and procedures, and programs within the guidelines of state regulations and Crestview Senior Living Policies. Recruit and hire Food Service staff, with the approval of the Administrator. Schedule Food Service staff, call-in coverage, and work/shift assignments. Monitor kitchen and dining room for cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment. Maintain appropriate level of supplies. Inventory supplies and equipment as required. Assure compliance with local, state and federal health regulations. Maintain proper Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) documentation and update MSDS book as needed. Provide coverage in the Food Service department, working as a cook or cook’s helper performing all job duties as necessary and on any shift. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

$50,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year
