Pay starts at $13/hour until training is complete (minimum 1 week). After training, pay is $17/hour + performance bonuses. Taking additional responsibilities raises pay to $21/hour + performance bonuses + equity. Hours are completely flexible. Job Overview As a Café Manager, you will oversee the strategic operations of our café, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient food service delivery. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining assets, upholding standards, and executing bold initiatives. Core Duties These are assumed as soon as training is complete: Align staff with quality, compliance, and safety standards by coordinating tasks. Maintain a strong work culture among the crew that fosters innovation, collaboration, and empathy. Track Inventory levels and order supplies shipments efficiently. Oversee the acquisition and maintenance of Equipment, Appliances, Decorations, and other store assets. Prepare monthly self-evaluation reports to kick off performance bonus discussion. Be the first escalation point for customers, crew members, or leadership. Additional Duties Each one increases pay, but has their own training requisites Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and store ratings. Arrange the weekly schedule for all crew members, keeping in mind reinforcement and disciplinary techniques. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records. Seek and execute effective local and online marketing opportunities. Establish partnerships with neighboring organizations. Coordinate catering orders and special events. Analyze trends to set up innovative promotions to increase foot-traffic and product movement. You may be a good fit if you have: Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining establishments Proficiency in kitchen and food management Strong customer service skills Knowledge of inventory control procedures Experience with cash handling and financial reporting Ability to lead and motivate a team Familiarity with catering operations Bar management experience is a plus Note about compensation: Compensation is maximized with strong performance.
