Join our team as a Food & Beverage Supervisor in Dania Beach, Florida, and become an integral part of our success story . What you will be doing Supervise food and beverage employees, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Coordinate communication between front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house employees to ensure smooth operations. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all outlets, including bars, restaurants, and the entertainment venue, to provide informed guidance and support. Ensure strict adherence to all company and department policies, procedures, and safety controls, addressing any infractions promptly and effectively. Continuously expand knowledge of the food and beverage offerings, staying up-to-date with menu changes and special promotions. Take responsibility for closing out food and beverage outlets at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and completeness of reports. Adhere to effective inventory control practices, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and optimizing cost management. Direct the training and development of food and beverage employees, including ongoing coaching and feedback. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage areas, ensuring proper rotation of food items and consistently meeting par levels. Proactively prepare for the next day’s business, including staff scheduling and resource allocation. Handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally, finding solutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Foster a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with fellow employees, promoting a positive work environment. Generate accurate and timely reports related to sales, inventory, and operational performance, providing valuable insights for decision-making. Monitor and enforce guidelines for proper cooking and holding temperatures of food, food preparation, and serving, maintaining consistently high-quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage outlets to ensure they meet and exceed sanitary standards, taking immediate corrective actions when necessary. Collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage to review beverage activities and promotional status, contributing to the development of revenue-enhancing strategies. Ensure compliance with dress code standards, cleanliness, and professional appearance of all staff. Innovatively contribute to the improvement of food and beverage services, suggesting ideas and participating in menu development. The ideal candidate for this position High school diploma preferred. 3-5 years of work experience in the field, with managerial experience preferred. Proficiency in using personal computers and basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Ability to follow instructions and perform assigned tasks with limited supervision. Effective organizational and human relations skills are essential. Working knowledge of MS Office applications. Preferred knowledge of Micros POS. HAACP, local state/county, or similar Food Handlers Certification is highly preferred. Must apply for and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, including a lifetime FBI criminal background check. Must pass drug testing as per the company’s Drug-Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks. Physical demands The job may require standing and walking for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25lbs pounds. Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching. Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate equipment and handle various tasks.
