Overnight Shift:

Monday•Friday; 11pm to 7am
The SIPP Overnight Supervisor is responsible for management of direct care staff, including employee discipline, hiring, and training/supervision of all residential counselors, including PRN staff. The supervisor will provide ongoing supervision to ensure all clients are receiving therapeutic care within the milieu. The Overnight Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day to day overnight operations for the campus, including, but not limited to, ongoing coaching for existing staff, onboarding new residential counselors, and crisis management situations. The Overnight Supervisor will report directly to the Associate Director of Residential Programs. Train/oversee training of new staff
Ensure onboarding training requirements are met by reviewing new hire orientation checklist with new staff
Complete all new hire paperwork required for the onboarding process
Review New Employee Handbook with all new residential counselors.
Facilitate team meetings and keep record of meeting minutes, as needed
Manage agency cell phone Complete purchase requisitions as needed
Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the units.
Assist with internal investigations Provide necessary reports, documentation & information to Associate Director/Director as needed.
Address staffing issues that may arise during your shift. Manage and approve time corrections as needed. Provide ongoing supervision and manage disciplinary matters appropriately alongside in conjunction with staff assigned supervisor. Fill in online in crisis situations to reduce OT and ensure safety.
Provide leadership to the program during assigned shift. Assist the Shift Supervisors with ensuring the residential counselor documentation is accurate & complete during assigned shift. Effectively communicates with team members regarding client needs, safety, rules, and expectations. Serves as a role model for implementing trauma informed principles, including TBRI, and therapeutic care.
Assist in creating a positive culture within the milieu for both employees and clients
Provide necessary reports, documentation, and information to Associate Director and Director as needed.
Able to problem solve effectively using logic and critical thinking
Appropriately supervises staff while following agency guidelines for staff disciplinary measures.
Models appropriate and professional behavior (i.e., dress, habits, personality, tact, etc.)
Relates with clients, parents, peers, and the general public in a respectful and professional manner in person and phone interaction.
Follows disciplinary procedure by continuously monitoring staff performance for positive actions and deficiencies noted throughout the year. Provide coaching as needed.
Recognizes and reports signs and symptoms of abuse and neglect.
Participates in any required meetings and comes prepared with necessary information. Perform Weekly Camera Reviews & submit documentation to Associate Director/Director. Facilitate any in-services, policy updates, team huddles as needed. Relieve direct care staff as needed to adhere to program guidelines and minimize potential risk. Keep a record of performance based conversations and supervision provided to direct care staff. Performs other duties that may be assigned

Requirements:

Associates Degree and/or 1 year relevant leadership experience required
3 years of children residential and/or children with behavioral/mental health needs
Valid Florida driver’s license in good standing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate Level Computer Skills, Strong organizational skills, Time Management TBRI trained (Must complete within 90 days of employment)

Physical Demands:

The employee will be required to talk, hear and see; be able successfully complete Crisis Prevention training which requires physical components, including bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting, to ensure the safety of clients and staff; stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time. The employee will need to be able to perform household living tasks, such as taking the trash out and laundry, which require lifting, carrying items and bending.
