- AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures.
GME programs on the hospital campus currently include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year.

The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for overseeing the daily activities of patient and cafeteria food service in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Implement, monitor and coordinate automated systems.

- Reports to work in a regular and timely fashion.
- Maintains personal hygiene and neatness according to departmental standards.
- Performs proper handwashing techniques according to departmental standards.
- Utilizes gloves according to departmental standards.
- Uses hair restraints according to departmental standards.
- Supervises patient food service and cafeteria personnel.
- Checks daily attendance and adjusts according to service functions.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : - High School graduate, GED or equivalent experience (two plus years’ experience).
- Two years’ experience in hospital food service with working knowledge of patient diets.
