Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef & Line Cooks to join our team. In the kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our recipes and specifications. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to our customers’ dining experience. Our guests dining experience sould be walking into the restaurant where people are friendly, the surroundings are clean, the aroma of delicious food cooking are the first things before the food is served. Looking for people with attention to detail on the presentation of the food as well as the taste.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cook or Chef or relevant role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Experience supervising or leading a team is a plus
Skills:
- Culinary expertise in preparing a variety of dishes
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Food handler or manager certificate, based upon which job you ar applying for.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils High cleanliness standards both personally and the restaurant.
