The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered promptly, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to enhance the overall dining experience for our guests. Duties Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery. Monitor the preparation of dishes to guarantee quality and presentation standards are met. Assist in food handling and preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen personnel to streamline operations during busy periods. Help maintain inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred. Strong understanding of food handling practices and safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with banquet service is a plus. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help team members as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
