as a Team Leader, where you’ll play a crucial role in leading our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. As the highest-ranking member in the store, you’ll not only share responsibilities with Team Members but also take charge of key operational aspects to ensure the smooth functioning of our establishment. This role will report directly to the District Manager.

Optimize Scheduling:

Manage team schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations. Utilize tools like 7SHIFTS and Square for effective scheduling and communication. Be a

Problem Solver:

Serve as the first point of contact for call-offs or urgent needs. Address and resolve issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.

Train and Inspire New Hires:

Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new team members. Ensure new hires understand store procedures, customer service protocols, and company standards. Monitor and support new hires during their onboarding period, helping them transition smoothly into their roles.

QUALIFICATIONS

Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and adhere to a fixed schedule for consistent attendance. Willingness to obtain NYC Food Handler certification within 30 days of hire. Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at multitasking. Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills; communicates clearly with peers, store leads, and district managers. Ability to manage and inspire 4-5 team members, addressing their needs and guiding them towards common goals. Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry preferred. Passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle and Oakberry products to drive daily sales.

Training Abilities:

Team-oriented with effective training skills. Eager to learn and stay updated on products, company policies, procedures, and standards. Maintains food and beverage items to the highest quality and presentation standards. Attention to detail and dedication to accuracy. Comfortable working independently, often managing the store alone. Able to work standing for extended periods and lift weights as required. Holds a Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain one. Proficient in using scheduling, task management, and communication tools like 7Shifts. Uses a phone for staff management app, company emails, and text message communication. Able to stand for extended periods and lift weights as required. Proficient in inventory management, purchasing, and employee scheduling tools. Willingness to learn and stay updated on company policies, procedures, and standards. Ability to ensure that all food and beverage items are made to the highest quality and presentation standards.

OVERTIME

All authorized and approved work performed in excess of forty (40) hours in any one week shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at the overtime rate of one and one-half times the employee’s straight time rate of pay. All overtime must be approved and authorized prior to being worked.
