Their primary duty is to ensure the store’s profitability, drive sales growth, enhance guest satisfaction, and foster employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Directs day-to-day store operations, which involve supervising store team members, handling guest orders from preparation to delivery, and maintaining the store’s equipment and facilities. Responds to and adeptly resolves guest complaints to ensure a positive guest experience. Effectively implements, upholds, and, if necessary, corrects processes and procedures to uphold operational excellence in accordance with Marco’s Pizza 10 Operating Systems. Enforces food safety practices that align with federal, state, and local regulations. Sets and strives to meet weekly sales targets and service time standards for the store. Efficiently executes Local Store Marketing strategies to promote the Marco’s brand and stimulate sales growth. Regularly reviews the store’s Profit & Loss Statements and utilizes the data to implement sustainable measures for EBITDA growth. Actively manages food costs through meticulous inventory control, conducting routine inventories, and ordering necessary products and supplies. Manages labor costs by employing predictive labor scheduling techniques for store team members. Takes measures to safeguard company assets, including cash, and maintains a safe restaurant environment to ensure the well-being of guests and team members. Oversees all aspects of the Point of Sale system to ensure smooth operations. Maintains accurate and up-to-date data in all corporate systems, including Point of Sale, Inventory IQ, Marco’s University Online, and personnel records. Recruits and conducts effective interviews to select the most suitable and qualified candidates. Provides training and guidance to store team members in all Marco’s procedures, ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience. Sets an example and leads by embodying Marco’s cultural values.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Restaurant Management Experience:

A minimum of 1 year of restaurant management experience with a track record of demonstrated success.

Educational Background:

A High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.

Age Requirement:

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.

Driver’s License:

Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:
ServSafe Certification:

Preference will be given to candidates who are ServSafe certified, indicating their commitment to food safety standards.

In-Depth Marco’s Pizza Knowledge:

Candidates with comprehensive knowledge of the Marco’s Pizza system and culture will be preferred. This includes the successful completion of the Insider/Driver course, Marco’s Leadership Track, and certification as a Trainer for new team members and Local Store Marketing initiatives.
