As Traveling Food & Beverage Director, you will be role responsiblefor the overall guidance of F&B Operations and talentdevelopment onboard the ships within their assigned capacity. Thetravelling F&B Director is responsible for creating, proposingand supporting brand initiatives and leading shipboard Food andBeverage Directors/ Managers and their teams in an effort toachieve company division goals and key performance indicators.

Onboard, the position acts as a conduit between shore-sideleadership and shipboard operations. He/ She will provide thenecessary shipboard support needed to hit quarterly targets andwill share accountability for results. The Traveling F&BDirector must develop and maintain ongoing relationships with theshipboard leadership team in order to successfully execute the newF&B vision.   • Ensure accuracy and completeness of internal performance reviewscarried out by the onboard F&B Directors/ Managers
  • Act as a liaison between ships and shore management to provideefficient, effective communication
  • Maintain quality assurance through standards & procedures fortrainings, guest and employee satisfaction surveys
  • Achieves financial and guest satisfaction targets for each shipassigned to them through close relations, mentoring, coaching andguidance of the onboard leadership team
  • Perform periodic spot checks and audit systems in place includingbut not limited to: food cost control, new energy, beverage & foodvariances, consumable and replaceable handling, etc
  • Communicating, assisting and monitoring onboard F&B Director/ Managers effectiveness to manage the operations within allbudgets, forecasts, and targets
  • Traveling F&B Directors will play a key role in allrevitalizations assigned to ships within their group working withthe F&B revite management team and leading their group workingwith the F&B revite management team and leading communication,training, and support to ship board management as needed to supportthe F&B revite team
  • Mentors, develops and provides on-the-job training to F&Bleadership teams to strengthen their current performance andpreparation for future advancement
  • Perform frequent walkthroughs of FOH and BOH as well as periodicrestaurant visits to ensure high levels of operating standards aremaintained
