Summary As a Shift Leader at Pei Wei Asian Kitchen, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations during your shift while maintaining our high standards of food quality and customer service. This position is essential for fostering a positive team environment and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficiency and quality service. Train and develop team members on food safety standards, culinary skills, and customer service best practices. Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment. Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to maximize profitability. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective team management and customer interaction. Ability to train and develop staff while fostering a positive work environment. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
