As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining high standards of food quality and service. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Lead and supervise staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance team performance. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly. Monitor food handling practices to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant efficiency and profitability. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create seasonal menus that reflect customer preferences. Conduct regular inspections of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms to ensure cleanliness and organization. Skills Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry. Strong inventory control skills with an understanding of cost management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations gracefully. Effective team management abilities, fostering a collaborative work environment. Leadership qualities that inspire staff to perform at their best. Knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations within the restaurant setting. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and customers. A background in casual dining is preferred but not required.
