The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive atmosphere for both employees and guests. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service are maintained. Assist in training new staff on restaurant policies, procedures, and best practices. Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Uphold health and safety regulations within the restaurant at all times. Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving service efficiency. Experience Previous experience in food service management or as an Assistant Manager is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is essential for managing transactions effectively. Experience in casual dining or banquet settings is a plus. Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and customer service best practices. Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and provide constructive feedback. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with staff and customers.
