Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Shift Supervisor at Walton Academy for Growth and Change in DeFuniak Springs, FL ✨ Located near the white sand beaches of Northwest Florida in DeFuniak Springs – At Walton Academy, we provide residential treatment to improving the lives of Youth through mental health and substance abuse services. We offer skills and opportunities to our youth from Carpentry/Home Builders Institute, Sports to Culinary Arts.

$61,950 annually

Life:
The Shift Supervisor is a member of the Site Management Team. Primarily responsible for the daily management and supervisory control of Group Living operations under the supervision of the Director of Group Living and/or Program Director. Ensures ROP programs are being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local licensing requirements. This position must have full and direct supervision of a minimum of two full-time employees.
To be considered you should:
Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Behavior Science, Counseling, Secondary Education, Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social/Human Services OR any equivalent combination numbers of years’ experience, education and/or training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Military experience and training is acceptable. Three (3) years of experience in a juvenile treatment (Residential, Behavioral, Dentition, Corrections, etc.) Related and/or equivalent experience may be substituted with approval. One (1) year supervisory experience. Must meet all individual state specific licensing requirements in addition to ROP requirements regarding education and experience.
