The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food management and customer service, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. As a Shift Leader, you will ensure that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Shift Leaders play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the restaurant focused on delivering sales and profit results through Heartfelt Guest Service, people, and operations. Operating under the direction of the General and Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders assist with directly managing a shift of Team Members to drive key performance outcomes and effectively run restaurant operations. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff, including cooks, servers, and bartenders. Train new employees on food service procedures, customer interaction, and safety protocols. Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and service. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to promote team development. Assist in creating staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Knowledge of food management practices and safety regulations. Ability to train staff in various roles including cooking, bartending, and customer service. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
