Job Description
Printpack is seeking the most qualified candidate to fill the position of Shift Supervisor in our Metallizing Plant located in Villa Rica GA. This position will report to the Production Manager. Supervisor is responsible for managing safety, production, waste, and quality goals on the shift. The supervisor also serves as a technical liaison for the operators. The opening is on Night Shift 7:00 pm
- 7:00 am on a 3/2 Schedule Salaried position includes option for overtime pay

- 5 years production experience needed Proven ability to effectively manage people and responsibilities Strong computer skills needed Excellent organizational and multitasking skills needed Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen and background check Preferred Qualifications Strong technical skills in Metallizing / Slitting Processes Essential Job Duties Manage the shift to ensure all performance goals of the plant in relation to safety, waste, quality, and productivity are achieved.
Provide associates with coaching, feedback, and timely performance reviews. Ensure that internal and external customer expectations are met. Oversee plant initiatives such as 5S, BBSO, FSSC 22K, VPP. Supervise shift personnel in a manner that promotes a sense of fairness and high morale. Control operating costs. Perform job checkouts and make decisions regarding quality. Oversee the department on the night shift to ensure compliance to regulatory policies. Effectively facilitate and lead a small team to achieve specific goals (waste, quality teams) Manage team to keep equipment operating in a productive manner at all times. This may also include running the equipment.
