Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service will contribute to the overall success of our bar. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Upsell drinks and menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through OpenTable or other systems. Skills Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is preferred. Strong upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including kitchen collaboration. Sales experience is a plus, contributing to overall revenue generation. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain health standards. Effective time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
