Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the cash register system. Provide assistance with menu selections and answer any questions about food items. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining tables and service counters. Support food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Assist in managing wait times and seating arrangements during busy periods. Uphold high standards of customer service at all times, addressing any guest concerns promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus. Proficiency in cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A passion for culinary arts and providing exceptional customer experiences is highly valued.
