The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead, located at 3434 Peachtree Rd.,NE,Atlanta, GA, 30326 currently has the following opportunity: Supervisor-Kitchen (140018K8): Supervise and coordinate activitiesof cooks and workers. Determine how food should be presented, andcreate decorative food displays. Ensure proper portion,arrangement, and food garnish to be served. Monitor the quantity offood that is prepared. Inform F&B service staff of 86’ed itemsand number of available menu specials. Prepare special meals orsubstitute items. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with varioustasks. Provide cooks with needed items. Monitor stock of kitchensupplies and food. Maintain kitchen logs for food safety programand food products. Ensure the quality of the food items and notifymanager if a product does not meet specifications. Assistmanagement in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling,disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe workconditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.

Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional;maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protectcompany assets. Address guests’ service needs. Speak with othersusing clear and professional language. Develop and maintainpositive working relationships with others; support team to reachcommon goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns ofother employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations andstandards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting,pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and placeobjects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds withoutassistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested bySupervisors.
