06/2025 SUMMARY We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Legacy Lodge at Lanier Islands. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a strong background in hospitality management. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our restaurants, bars, and other dining facilities, ensuring that all guests receive high-quality service, food, and drinks in a welcoming environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Supervision & Training:

Lead, train, and motivate a team of food and beverage staff, ensuring consistent high standards of service. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions on product knowledge, service standards, and guest engagement.

Guest Service Excellence:

Ensure all guest interactions are positive and that issues are addressed promptly. Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by anticipating their needs and responding to feedback.

Operations Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of dining outlets, ensuring smooth service flow. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly.

Inventory & Stock Control:

Manage inventory levels for food and beverage items, ensuring stock is available and replenished in a timely manner. Assist in ordering supplies and maintaining proper storage conditions.

Quality Control & Health & Safety Compliance:

Ensure that food preparation, service, and storage meet all health and safety standards, as well as resort-specific policies. Conduct regular cleanliness inspections of dining areas and kitchens.

Financial Oversight:

Assist with budget management, track food and beverage costs, and help achieve financial targets. Monitor labor costs and staff productivity to maximize operational efficiency.

Event Coordination:

Support in organizing special events, themed dinners, and large group bookings, ensuring that all aspects of food and beverage service are seamlessly coordinated.

Communication:

Foster positive relationships with all departments (e.g., kitchen, front desk, housekeeping) to ensure a cohesive team approach to guest service.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the hospitality or resort industry.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the resort’s operational needs.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in MS Office and POS systems

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to comprehend and communicate either verbal in English and non-verbal methods. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English and respond in writing Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and associates

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
