Join Our Team at Fulton Science Academy- Alpharetta, GA
FISD is hiring a Director of Dining Services at Fulton Science Academy—a top-ranked, K-12 day school located in Alpharetta, GA. In this leadership role, you will oversee day-to-day operations for the dining program, manage a team of associates, and serve as the primary liaison with the client. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional food quality, strong customer service, and seamless dining operations that reflect the diverse needs of the school community.
You’ll play a critical role in building and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring the dining program meets the financial and operational goals.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact at one of Atlanta’s premier schools while working with a respected food service organization committed to quality, innovation, and community.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, students, faculty, and staff
Partner with the Executive Chef and management team to develop seasonal menus and ensure exceptional food quality
Manage all aspects of the account’s financials, including full P&L responsibility, budgeting, and reporting
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and operational best practices
Lead, train, and develop dining services staff to support a positive, productive, and service-focused environment
Oversee catering operations and support special events on campus
Drive innovation and roll out new culinary programs in collaboration with corporate and on-site culinary teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred
At least 5 years of progressive food service management experience in a Director or General Manager leadership capacity
Proven P&L management experience
Prior experience in a K-12 or education account is strongly preferred
Candidates with backgrounds in Business & Industry (B&I) or contract foodservice highly desired
Experience in high-volume production and catering environments
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a client-facing role
Passion for delivering top-quality service and building lasting partnerships
Desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a dynamic team
