The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to manage time effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Maintain high standards of food handling and safety protocols in compliance with health regulations. Assist with training new employees on food preparation, cash handling, and customer service procedures. Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and balancing at the end of shifts. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables as needed. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain stock levels. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that arise. Implement time management strategies to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Requirements Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or grocery store is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Ability to lead by example, motivating team members to perform at their best. Experience with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. A passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering quality service.
