Food Service Supervisor Hansberry Adult Day Health Care,LLC 2121 Dulles Drive, Lafayette, LA 70506 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all staff members provide exceptional service and maintain high standards in food quality and safety. You will play a crucial role in managing kitchen activities, supervising staff, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our customers. Responsibilities Supervise daily food service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to promote a positive work environment and enhance team performance. Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain efficient operations. Implement and uphold company policies regarding food management and customer service. Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, for efficient order processing and transaction management. Collaborate with management to develop menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal offerings. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in food management within a kitchen or quick-service fast food restaurant setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team. Knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
