As a key member of our restaurant, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, customer service, and maintaining food safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Utilize POS system for order entry and cash handling. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for customers. Maintain the cleanliness of work areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment. Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Participate in marketing opportunities (serving food at events, passing out fliers, etc.) Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for food and the café culture is highly desirable.
