Bar Supervisor Brooks On The Water 4762 Pontchartrain Drive, Slidell, LA 70458 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests in a lively and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that our patrons have an enjoyable experience. Your knowledge of drink recipes, customer service skills, and ability to work efficiently under pressure will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations, maintaining a safe environment for both staff and guests. Engage with customers, taking orders, making recommendations, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for guests at the bar or during events such as banquets. Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and special promotions to enhance guest experiences. Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and customer service standards. Experience Previous experience as a Bartender in a nightclub or fine dining restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus for establishments offering craft beers. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations related to beverage service. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail and quality service.
