Job Summary To ensure continuous and efficient operation of the established receiving and put-away process, as well as all subsequent inventory transactions. Kettle Cuisine takes the utmost pride in their products and expects each employee to do the same with their work. Duties and Responsibilities Pick / Stage and load out customer orders. Maintain, Invoice, and generate accurate paperwork for customer orders Coordinate with 3rd party carriers what is available for pickup Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy Always adhere to safe working practices Perform daily checks of area for non-compliance and report them to your manager Accurate and timely completion of required documentation to enable clear traceability Always ensure clean and tidy work areas Plan all activities to reduce downtime Load vehicles timely, accurately, and efficiently Organize and prioritize pick-order for the night Manage ERP system transactions. Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes Take active lead with new employees and temporary labor Encourage colleagues to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement Take instructions from supervisors. Any other tasks deemed reasonable and requested by management Communicate an end of shift breakdown / Hand-off to the next shift Required Skills Three Years of manufacturing experience preferably in the food industry Three Years of experience with inventory control Experience working in temperature-controlled settings Experience with perishable items Proven record of accomplishment in safe working practices Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment Goal oriented & well organized Ability to work all scheduled shifts, on time Desired Skills Ability to operate a pallet jack / forklift Able to interact and communicate with the supervisors and team members Ability to lift 50 lbs. - 2nd shift base pay range $21-27 USD/hourly.
The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Lynn, MA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. The Shipping Lead
- 2nd shift position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for the annual discretionary bonus program up to 5%.
