Job Description

WHATELY Bar Supervisor Responsible for sales and execution of allbeverage services & maintaining strong execution in all aspects of thebeverage program At Quonquont Farm we believe that every guest is thecenter of celebration. We work hard to ensure every guest has a fabulousexperience. We are looking for an energetic, organized, self motivatedindividual who has experience running a beverage program in a facepaced, high-end, environment. This position is responsible for some ofthe most important tasks to ensure the success of our beverage program.

It offers the ability to work with clients and as part of our event teamand to drive the success of our events through the smooth execution ofbeverage services. You will be responsible for producing bespoke menusfor each client using the highest quality local ingredients, whenpossible. This position is key in ensuring that events are executed tothe highest standard. Responsibilities Work with the bar and event teamto make sure all details are attended to leading up to and throughoutthe event. Be a liaison for guests and vendors during events. Manage barseasonal staff to create an efficient & harmonious environment. Lead theteam and play an active role in creating the strategic framework for thesuccess of each client, from sales to execution. Leverage and helpimprove the planning process to achieve/exceed results, improve customerrelationships with efficient execution. Maintain a rotating farmcocktail menu and work with clients to create a bespoke menu, using farmgrown, seasonal goods wherever possible. Oversee bar inventory, orderingappropriate products as needed. Manage bar line items in the eventbudget. Balance products of good quality and value that fits within yourset budget. Implement standard operating procedures around barorganization, set up, breakdown and restock Communicates unique eventneeds to staff. Lead, manage, engage, and provide long-term developmentguidance to direct reports, working to build a successful team.

Requirements Highschool diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year ofbeverage program management, including staff and inventory management.

Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience Ability to communicateclearly and appropriately with team members and guests. Take initiative& direction to produce thorough, efficient work. Work various hoursincluding nights and weekends as the schedule dictates. Process cash andcredit transactions through POS system. Toast POS experience preferredAbility to stand for long periods of time, stooping, bending, carrying/lifting up to 40 lbs, grasping, reaching, working in the heat of thesummer. TIPS Certified. Benefits Health Insurance, including dental andvision. 401K, with salary matching PTO, 17 days per year, accrual beginsday 1 of employment. Hours accrued per pay period increases at 2, 5 and8 years of service.
