Kitchen Supervisor 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars 2215 US Route 202, Winthrop, ME 04364 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in kitchen management, with a passion for fine dining and banquet operations. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Duties Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards. Manage food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes served. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and professional development. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations and safety protocols. Handle special events and banquets, coordinating with front-of-house staff for seamless service delivery. Address any issues or concerns that arise during service promptly and professionally. Qualifications Proven experience in kitchen management within a restaurant or fine dining environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment operation. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and safety practices. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Previous experience with banquet services is preferred but not required. Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not mandatory.
