We are looking for the right candidate to start off as a shift leader with potential for growth into a Fifth & Emery Assistant or Store Manager position based on performance. We believe that people will succeed when we put the care into them that we put into serving our customers.

ABOUT US

We started our first location at the Plaza in 2015 serving frozen yogurt, expanded to Shoal Creek in 2018, and then opened our Overland Park location in 2020. This year we opened two new locations in Lenexa and Zona Rosa , and have another store opening in early 2026!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We have a small management staff among the five stores that manage around 60 employees. We are looking for someone who loves being hands-on, has open communication, open to growth, and loves working with a team. Furthermore, we will coach the right person for this role, with the goal in mind to be the next Assistant or Store Manager, if desired. PURPOSE To contribute to the success of the store by ensuring service experience standards are met and exceeded at all times during the shift. To assist the store manager and/or assistant manager with daily operating procedures such as promoting yogurt sales, and supervising store staff development To assist the store manager and/or assistant manager with daily chocolate production To assist the store manager with caramel making and decorating caramel apples To act as a role model while providing guidance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

To record and be accountable for store funds while running a shift To ensure all cash handling and cash register functions are performed in an accurate and consistent manner. To coach new hires throughout their learning. To ensure all company policies, store operating standards, and procedures are communicated effectively and maintained and followed consistently. To organize work through the store in a manner that facilitates efficient customer service. To perform and help direct others to complete the cleaning and operational tasks in accordance with the store duties. To multitask, prioritize, organize, and delegate work with follow through To place orders and and perform special projects to assist with shift operations.
