Work Area:

Dietary St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center – North provides specialized care for clients diagnosed with mental illness. We are looking for a positive and energetic Food Service Supervisor who has an interest in helping those with mental illness maximize their potential.

Responsibilities:

Directly supervises the Food Service Workers Create weekly work assignments for employees and monitors progress in completing these tasks Assist the Food Service Workers as needed Monitors preparation of hot food items, overseeing tray service on carryout and in the cafeteria Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed related to quality assurance measures Possess a thorough understanding of specialized diets and food safety standards Ensures the Dietary Department maintains sanitization principles and completes routing walk-throughs to ensure preparedness of upcoming surveys

Eligibility:

1 year previous work experience or training in food service or equivalent Ability to read and follow recipes Lift up to 35lbs Dependability and willingness to work with attention to detail Completion of 6 month probationary No disciplinary action in last 12 months [current State of Missouri applicants] Have or are willing to receive Hepatitis A vaccination
