KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory Skills:
Oversee day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring all associates fulfull their job functions appropriately.
Culinary Knowledge:
Support food and beverage service operations and maintain culinary supplies
Cost and Quality Control:
Analyze costs, breakage, and quality support for various kitchen areas.
Safety and Compliance:
Educate associates on safety issues and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communication and Leadership:
Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner and maintain open communication with other departments.
Sanitation and Cleanliness:
Ensure the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness in all facilities and equipment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in kitchen operations or a similar field, including a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience. Knowledge of food and beverage service operations is preferred. Complies with certification requirements as applicable for position to include: Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid Ability to acquire Food Manager Certification as required by applicable state regulations.
