The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the beverage operations of 5 locations. Someone who understands sincere service, and developing innovative drink menus that help to enhance the guest experience. This role requires a strong background in hospitality, staff training, and shift management, with a focus on creating a positive and engaging culture for both guests and team members. Duties Develop and collaborate with chefs to implement creative beverage menus for multiple concepts. Local beer and keg wine list for bakery/cafe. Local beer and batch cocktail menu for pizza concept. Japanese beers and sake for ramen restaurant. Classic cocktail bar program and wine list for casual fine dining restaurant. Banquet/event wine list for seasonal events and parties. Oversee daily beverage operations and communicate ordering properly to ensure high standards of quality and service are maintained. Train, supervise, and mentor staff on beverage preparation, service techniques, and product knowledge. Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance skills in mixology, customer service, and food pairing. Manage inventory levels of all beverages, including ordering supplies and controlling costs. Collaborate with the culinary team to create complementary food and drink pairings for banquets and catering events. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all beverage-related activities. Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new staff members within the beverage department. Experience Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in casual dining settings. Strong background in staff training development and shift management. Experience with banquet operations and catering services is highly desirable. Knowledge of food preparation techniques as they relate to beverage pairings is beneficial. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with guests and staff alike.
