Concessions Supervisor Carousel Hospitality High Point, NC Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Seasonal $16 – $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Management ServSafe Customer service 5 years Shift management Mid-level Cash register Driver’s License Supervising experience Team management Food service POS Cash handling Leadership Food service management Time management Full Job Description Under the Leadership of the General Manager at Truist Point home of the High Point Rockers professional baseball team and the Carolina Core FC professional soccer team, the Concessions Supervisor is responsible for all day-to-day aspects of concessions operations, including concessions stand locations, portable service locations, warehouse operations, such as assisting with training personnel, supervising, and directing the work activities of others, all while providing exceptional customer service for our customers. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervises and coordinates stand workers, portable workers, warehouse team workers, delegating tasks and providing follow-up.
  • Oversees and/or participates in stand, portable and warehouse set-up and closing procedures.
  • At closing, works with other stand and portable personnel to properly clean equipment and organize stock for the next event.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction while performing duties.
  • Train and coach employees constantly and consistently providing feedback good and bad.
  • Must have working knowledge of all positions in stand; cashier, fry & grill cook, and how to operate all equipment.
  • Ability to incorporate par/production/count sheets into daily routine and effectively communicate proper production levels of product based upon expected game and event attendance.
  • Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service.
  • Ensure product quality, stand cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards are met.
  • Ensures that all workstations and the back of stand and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked, keeping a quality appearance of the stand at all times.
  • Able to resolve customer issues by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, and selecting the best solution to solve the problem.
  • Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
  • Ensures stand workers comply with company service standards and safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed In locations where applicable.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain quality and consistency of all food served.
  • Assist with inventory and food spoilage policies.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • TIPS and ServSafe Certifications or state or local certifications if different where required.
Other Requirements:

Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to six (6) hours in length and have the ability to bend and lift up to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees. Must be able to go from warm to cold climates (workstation to coolers) and work in warmer conditions. Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
