1 Dining Room Supervisor This position must be available to work weekends. The Dining Room Supervisor is a full-time role that will oversee operations of the dining room in to ensure a first-class culinary experience for our residents. As the main connection between the dining room and kitchen, you will make sure the communication is smooth and efficient. Along with that, you will help our team meet its standards for quality and profitability. This will involve ensuring that all food health and safety requirements are met. Your job may also require you to train news staff and create schedules that reflect the dynamic needs of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Manages Restaurants and oversees daily operations of employees, and when necessary, fills in for the Dining Services Director and/or Dining Manager. Responsible for all in house and outside catering events. Assists in billing dietary events. Responsible for preparing bi-weekly schedule. Purchase supplies needed for operation (labels, utensils, flowers, paper supplies, etc.) Prints monthly employee and resident cost report and totals monthly catering bills. Responsible for the control and upkeep of Full count POS system. Responsible for creating and printing weekly server’s menus and cards for the Soup book for Bistro. Handle all deliveries to cottages and/or apartments. Responsible for completing bi-weekly Healthcare Nourishment Spreadsheets. Responsible for upkeep of all dietary forms and paperwork. Meets with family members, other departments or outside groups to schedule special events. Attends weekly activities meeting, weekly dining services management meeting, monthly safety committee meetings, and monthly dining service committee meetings and in the absence of the dining services director, attends the weekly management meeting as directed.
