Role and Responsibilities Overview This position is ideal for an enthusiastic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences through exceptional food and beverage services. This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for culinary excellence and hospitality management, ensuring that guests receive an exceptional dining experience. The Food and Beverage Manager is expected to lead a team of culinary and service professionals as well as communicating well with the owners in order to align with their vision. This includes maintaining high standards of service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing our restaurant staff with positivity while driving profitability.

    Operations Management:

    Supervise daily operations ensuring efficient and smooth workflow.

      Staff Management:

      Recruit, train, and manage food and beverage staff to ensure exceptional service.

        Customer Service:

        Ensure high-quality customer service and address any feedback with management promptly.

          Inventory Control:

          Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock effectively to minimize waste.

            Financial Management:

            Utilize in house software and work with Chef and Owners to communicate and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the food and beverage department.

              Menu Development:

              Collaborate with owners & chef to create and update menus that appeal to guests via marketing strategies such as, website, social media platforms as well as displaying within the Clubhouse for exposure.

                Compliance:

                Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

                  Event Coordination:

                  Plan and execute food and beverage services for golf tournaments, events, and special functions.

                  • Leadership role within the Clubhouse by creating organized methods of communication with the Head and Assistant Pro in order to work as a team to anticipate flow with tee sheet & tournaments to prepare FOH and BOH accordingly
                  • Working with the Head and Assistant Pro to streamline schedules for Turnhouse and Beverage Cart accordingly based on weather etc.
                  • Software experience with Lightspeed as well as being open to utilize all it has to offer.
                  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field.
                  • Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a golf course or similar environment.
                  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
                  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
                  • Proficient in financial management and inventory control.
                  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
                  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
                  Leadership:

                  Ability to lead and motivate a team.

                    Communication:

                    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with Front of House, Back of House, members/guests and the owners

                      Customer Service:

                      Strong focus on delivering high-quality customer service.

                        Problem-Solving:

                        Effective problem-solving skills to address challenges.

                          Creativity:

                          Innovative approach to menu development and event planning.

                            Delegation:

                            Ability to organize a plan to delegate duties to your team to streamline responsibilities in a positive and fair manner such as staff meetings to address everyone as a team effort.

                            • Work primarily in a golf course setting.
                            • Ability to manage operations both indoors and outdoors.
                            • Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
