As the Floor Manager at Julep Contemporary Kitchen, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while supporting our staff and maintaining high operational standards. You will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant floor, manage front-of-house staff, and ensure that our guests receive exceptional service in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience:
  • Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Monitor the dining room to ensure a positive atmosphere.
Staff Management:
  • Supervise, train, and mentor front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement.
Operational Oversight:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
  • Oversee the setup and cleanliness of the dining area.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Sales and Revenue:
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Monitor sales trends and adjust operations to maximize revenue.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team to address any operational issues.
Administrative Duties:
  • Assist with daily financial reporting and cash handling.
  • Help with marketing initiatives and promotions to enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
  • Proficient in POS systems and restaurant management software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
