Employer Randolph County (NC) Salary Depends on Qualifications Location Asheboro, NC Job Type Full Time Job Number 202300723 Department Emergency Services Division 911 Communications Opening Date 06/20/2025 Closing Date 6/27/2025 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (US & Canada) Description Performs intermediate technical work on an assigned shift overseeing and participating in taking calls, dispatching appropriate equipment and personnel for law enforcement, fire, emergency medical service and non-emergency calls for service; prepares activity records and reports, and related work as apparent
or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the 911 Communications Supervisor. Limited supervision is exercised over Telecommunicator. Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma or GED and three to five years experience as a telecommunicator, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Comments Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certification.
Local credentialing/re-credentialing.
CPR/First aid certification.
Division of Criminal Information (DCI) certification.
