Food & Beverage Director The Club at 12 Oaks – 1.4 Holly Springs, NC Job Details Full-time $80,000 – $92,000 a year 21 hours ago Qualifications Customer service Mid-level Communication skills Full Job Description The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for running a successful and profitable F&B program. They must exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills, maintain a clean and healthy environment and make effective decisions. The Food & Beverage Director will oversee all training of staff and are responsible for carrying out various duties to ensure that our guests receive excellent food, beverage and service in an inviting and comfortable environment. This role will supervise the general operations of all F&B outlets including the clubhouse, the pub, pool service and all catering & member events. The primary focus of this role is on the financial health of the department, consistent organization, seasonal planning, facility care and health code compliance. Specific responsibilities are (but not limited to):
Financials:
Forecasting and labor tracking. Regular budget review. Accurate invoicing.
Ordering:
Alcohol, N/A beverages, smallwares, paper goods etc.
Inventory:
Accurately report inventory at month end. Rotate and manage product to avoid loss to expiring product.
Payroll:
Accurate and timely submission of payroll – adhering to the corporate schedule and standards.
Facilities:
Coordinate R&M projects with Facility Engineer. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all F&B areas.
Scheduling:
Managers & Hourly:
Produce the manager and hourly schedule and send it to the team at least 2 weeks out.
Training & Development:
Continuously create development opportunities for the Asst. F&B Manager. Ensure the hourly team are well trained and are performing up to standard. Enforce disciplinary action when needed.
Seasonal planning:
Proactively plan for each upcoming season and change in operations. Health inspection check list and readiness: Organize and maintain cleanliness of all F&B areas and service stations. Closely adhere to the health code and ensure all areas are ready for inspection.
Support hiring activities:
Support the Asst. F&B Manager in hiring, ensuring the staff roster is always full.
Manage food and beverage specials/features:
Work with the chef to develop daily, weekly and monthly specials with food & beverage – continuously creating excitement around the F&B offerings.
Manage member events:
Conceptualize, organize and produce member events alongside the exec team members. Ensure accurate and timely event set up with the team. Compensation is based on career experience. About The Club at 12
